An adventurous couple from Australia who bought a sailboat on the other side of the world. With no clue on how to sail, we left our desk jobs, sold everything we had and bet everything on a sailboat called Zephyr. With your support, every week we will share our adventures, hilarious moments and amazing sights from the places we visit. Along the way, we hope to inspire awareness in marine conservation through the wonderful people we meet and engage in a more sustainable way of living. We get right back into the teak work on our Beneteau sailboat. Last week we did the long hours of sanding all the teak toe rails till they were nice and smooth. Then we went through the process of using wood filler to fill in all the gaps in the teak. This week we are straight back at it with sanding...

There are many parts of a sailboat that require ongoing maintenance, but few are generally as laborious as working on teak. Whether it's decks, toe rails, seats or interior wood. Teak requires constant maintenance. The debate around Stain vs Varnish continues and both have good qualities. Check out this...

Living aboard a sailboat can get complicated very fast. We have spent enough time sailing the world to witness it first hand to us and other sailors. So sometimes it makes sense to just simplify your day to day life on a sailboat so that stress doesn't get the better of you. It often those smaller chores...
